At Chime Bell Baptist Church, we are deeply committed to the enduring truth that Jesus Christ is able to transform anyone's life and fill it with His incredible joy, grace, wisdom, and love. We have seen Jesus Christ transform our own lives and the lives of others, and believe He wants to transform you as well. You don’t need to “clean yourself up” to join us—Jesus Christ does the cleaning up.
Our church exists to exalt Jesus Christ and His Word.
It’s that simple. But what does that look like practically?
our leadership
The leadership of Chime Bell Baptist Church invest significant time in God’s Word to properly exegete and expound its meaning. God’s Word is consistently taught in an expository way, using the “historical-grammatical approach” to biblical interpretation. We seek to first understand what God’s Word meant to its original audience, and then understand how it applies to a believer’s life today. This requires a significant time investment: both in preparation and in teaching time.
our church family
As the believers at Chime Bell Baptist Church learn and apply God’s Word, and Christ is then exalted in their lives. As Paul declared, "For me to live is Christ..." (Philippians 1:21)—Christ and the glory of Christ is always the goal of the Christian life. All that we are and all that we will be is anchored in the person of Christ.
our gatherings
Our church gatherings are designed to exalt Jesus Christ, His Word, and His truth. Our main gathering, our Sunday morning worship service, puts a large emphasis on teaching time.
